Here's how to use them effectively:
In a bowl, add 1 teaspoon of your chosen hair mask (or 2 teaspoons if you have long or thick hair).
Mix in 1 tablespoon of warm water or Aloe Vera Juice to the hair mask. Stir well to ensure there are no lumps.
Optionally, you can add up to 1 cup of your favorite moisturizing conditioner or 1 cup of a blended fresh ingredient like banana or a DIY deep conditioning hair smoothie recipe. Blend the mixture until it reaches a consistency similar to baby food, and then strain it.
The amount of active ingredient you use depends on the length and thickness of your hair.
Apply the mixture individually to each section of your hair, ensuring you cover it from roots to ends. You can use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to distribute the treatment evenly.
Leave the treatment in your hair for a minimum of 1 hour. For deeper penetration, you can cover your head with a cap and sit under a hairdryer for at least 20 minutes.
